Firstly I’d like to show my great appreciation to everyone for all the messages you’ve left below my videos. I have read every message. Next, I will introduce the differences between “收到” and “受到” based on everyone’s messages.
“收”, usually used as “collect” and “receive”, opposite of “发”, and followed by some concrete objects.
“受”, compared to “receive”, it emphasizes “passivity”. When “受” is used to show passivity, it is usually aimed at the results without subject’s actions.
Meanwhile, sometimes “受” means “suffer” matched with abstract objects with a little bit of negativity.
