How to Use "合适(hé shì)" and "适合(shì hé)"

Hi everyone, welcome to Hanbridge Mandarin’s HSK program. Today we’ll compare two words, 合适(hé shì) and 适合(shì hé). These two words have very similar meanings and even have the same character components. However, they are in different word classes.
合适: an adjective, it means suitable; appropriate; right.
It’s normally used to describe something or somebody has the right qualities for a particular purpose or person or situation
适合: a verb, it means suit, fit.
So they have very similar meanings but are used differently in the sentences.
