How to Use “大概(dà gài)” and “大约(dà yuē)”

大概 and 大约can be used to speculate or estimate a thing that is likely to happen and can be translated as “probably”.
大概 can be used alone as a noun to mean the general idea or broad outline. Also, we can use 大概 with 的 as an adjective to mean “general”, “rough”, or “approximate”.大约cannot be used like this.
