你好！我是汉桥的老师，欢迎大家和我们一起学习HSK3.
Today we will introduce two words “使” and “让“.
They can be followed by a pivotal element to mean “to cause”.
These two words basically mean the same thing, but “使” is usually used in written Chinese.
But让 can be used both in written and spoken Chinese.
我们看一下例子：
读书使人更有智慧。
高速发展的科技使人们的生活越来越便利。
为了让身体更健康，他每天都去锻炼身体。
为了让我有更多机会练习中文，妈妈带我来了中国。
There is another word 叫that has the same meaning and usage, but 叫 is usually used in spoken Chinese.
例如：
我来唱首歌，叫大伙儿高兴高兴。
她又爱学习又懂礼貌，真叫人喜欢。
