Hanbridge Mandarin held a Chinese Corner in Taishan city the evening of 10 November 2016 in conjunction with Double 11 festival and Buying carnival on Taobao, which is regarded as the most popular online retail platform in China.
At the first beginning of the activity, the teacher gave a brief introduction of Taobao development, during which students shared their buying experience in Taobao and problems encountered.
After the teacher showed the skills of how to quickly identify Chinese characters such as "price", "search", "evaluation", and Taobao tips, including the use of price sorting, photo upload searching and so on. Teachers also present a demonstration of how to use Taobao to buy a thing online, after which students tried and succeed to use Taobao to buy things following the instruction of the teachers.
In the end, everyone was immersed in the joy of sharing the food which is bought from Taobao and had a good time.
